Modern mixed martial arts competition emerged in American popular culture in 1993 with the founding of the UFC. Mixed martial arts (MMA) is a full contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques to be used in competitions. The rules allow the use of striking and grappling techniques, both while standing and on the ground. Such competitions allow martial artists of different backgrounds to compete.

The War Room takes pride specializing in MMA. They have some of the best MMA artists in the world training and teaching at their facility. These classes cover all aspects and fundamentals of MMA such as Striking, Throws, Judo, Kickboxing, Boxing, Jiu Jitsu, Submissions, and Wrestling. All students begin with the Basics of MMA until they are ready to progress to the next class level. Along the way you will learn all the techniques needed for self-defense when getting into the ring and competing. Once the trainers feel you are ready, the invite-only Advanced class consists of sparring and fighter training. The goal is to teach you the basics before moving to Advanced classes.
